101 Heroes is a partnership of caring individuals from all walks of life for whom literacy is in an inherent right for all. 

101 Heroes started as a personal vision to have 101+ friends, colleagues, family members and/or acquaintances to contribute their time, funds or resources to the vision of providing books and other learning resources to bridge the gap between the advantaged and disadvantaged in the poorer, rural villages of the Philippines.

It is a sad reality that in many charitable organizations, only a portion of your donation actually reaches the charitable cause.  101 Heroes is an all-volunteer organization, and 100% of your donation will go towards the building of a 2,400 sq. ft. library for poor children in depressed area in the Philippines.

Public schools in the Philippines suffer from lack of basic resources such as books, school supplies and teaching materials. An average of 10-15 students share a single textbook provided by the government. Most of the children have never owned a book.

101 Heroes is dedicated to providing each and every student their own books, and will unlock the door to the advantages that literacy provides; information, education, opportunity, jobs, health and prosperity.
